Sealing
Sealing is actually one of the easiest parts of the entire process – just make sure you don’t forget it entirely!
First of all, make sure your countertops are clean. Use denatured alcohol or special stone cleaner, and then dry the surface using a paper towel or cleaning cloth. Next, apply the sealant (which can be bought at any supermarket or home improvement store) as evenly as possible on your stone countertop.
After using the sealant, give it 15 to 20 minutes for the substance to impregnate into the stone and close its pores. This is really everything there is to it – the only thing left to do is clean any excess sealer. Make sure you do not leave sealer on for too long as it will be very hard to take off later.
